I received a photo of this woman butchering the sheep carcass from a special friend I met while hiking in Navajo National Monument.  The shapes and colors were irresistible to paint on a special surface called Yupo, which helped created the texture of her velvet blouse, yet the detail of her silver buttons and turquoise jewelry.
